Jazz Weekend September 11, 12 and 13
We’re excited to be hosting three groups of musicians for the 2026 St Charles Jazz Weekend! Performances will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday September 14th

Joe Schaefer Trio
The Joe Schaefer Trio features Joe Schaefer on Drums, Tyson Richter on Bass and Jon Speciale on Trumpet. These musicians are all students from the Jazz Workshop at Saint Charles North High School. The Joe Schaefer Trio will Preform Jazz Standards along with a few of Joe Schaefers original compositions. Joe Schaefer is Jazz Drummer/Trombonist and Composer going into his Senior Year at Saint Charles North High School.

Jason Atienza Trio
Jason Atienza is a 17-year-old jazz saxophonist based in St. Charles, Illinois, performing on both tenor and alto saxophone. A three-year member of the St. Charles East High School Jazz Workshop, he has developed a strong foundation in jazz improvisation and ensemble performance throughout his high school career, earning recognition at the regional and state level with selections to the ILMEA District 9 Regional Band and ILMEA All-State Jazz Band.

We are proud to serve Maple Leaf Coffee Roasters coffee and espresso. Founded in 2018 in Roselle, Illinois, Maple Leaf Coffee Roasters was founded to bring our friends and neighbors small-batch, locally roasted coffee in our cafe that’s accessible to everyone from the casual coffee drinker to the coffee connoisseur. We are so happy to be able to share our coffee with our new neighbors in St. Charles.
Our cozy, welcoming space is also available for your upcoming event rentals. We offer several options and price points and would love to work with you to create the perfect atmosphere for your birthday party, shower, or any other gathering!
